Laser-Guiding Pump
A dedicated waterjet pump for waterjet-guided laser cutting — uniform high pressure with minimal pulsation, stable up to 500 bar.
In Waterjet-Guided Laser Cutting, the water stream itself acts as an optical fiber:
it guides the laser beam without scattering while simultaneously performing the cut.
This minimises the thermal damage and oxidation that conventional laser cutting causes.

How It Works
The refractive-index difference between water and air produces total internal reflection, so the beam stays confined inside the jet along its entire working length.
| Jet diameter | 50 ~ 200 μm |
|---|---|
| Jet pressure | 100 ~ 500 bar |
| Jet length | 50 ~ 100 mm |
| Principle | Total internal reflection by refractive-index difference |
